There are many types of marriages in Africa. We have:

1. Traditional marriage,

2. Marriage Under Marriage Act or what laymen call church wedding, and

3. Islamic marriage

Each has it prons and cons.  For traditional marriage, it is a legally recognized form of marriage regulated by custom and traditions of the couple.

Most of which make the man king or head of the family with right to marry as many women as he can afford. If one woman is not enough for you, traditional marriage may just be your ideal wedding. No go do past your self 😀
