Judgment Alert!

 

The FCT High Court sitting in Gwagwalada Division has today the 18th December 2023 agreed with the argument of P. D. Pius & Associates and entered judgment in favour our client, Chief Irukwu Onwuka the CEO of Citiedge University, Abuja.

The Court delivered judgment in suit No. CV/906/22 CHIEF IRUKWU ONWUKA VS MRS FLORENCE EZENAGU & 4ORS.

Mrs Florence Ezenagu and others had a misunderstanding with our client and instead of approaching us for settlement or seeking help of a lawyer, they choose to use Police to harrass our client, invade his house and seek to arrest and destroy him. This led to suit seeking injunctive orders restraining Mrs Florence and Company together with police from arresting our client or in way harassing him over a purely civil transaction.

Our position was simple and that is, no matter how powerful you are, you are not allowed to use police or security agencies to settle civil dispute. The money you waste giving police may be enough to hire a competent lawyer to pursue your civil claims. Otherwise you will loose both your money and the case.

The court agreed with us and granted all the reliefs sought by our client. Congratulations to our client.
